Bankservice Plc partners with E-Lock to offer electronic signature solutions in the Bulgarian Market.

Frontier Technologies Corporation (E-Lock) today announced a partnership with Bankservice Plc who signed up to become an official E-Lock Partner for Bulgaria.

Bankservice Plc. is an Automated Clearing House of the Bulgarian banks and a registered Certification Services Provider for Bulgaria. Effective September 2003,Bankservice Plc. is registered by the Commission for Regulation of Communications (CRC) as a Certification Services Provider (CSP) under the Electronic Document and Electronic Signature Act. While developing PKI is an important and necessary prerequisite/step,it is not sufficient to satisfy the growing demands of the Bulgarian market. Clients need trusted services,as well as specialized solutions for applying the universal electronic signature. As Bulgaria moves towards joining the European Union in the recent future,it needs to comply with the standards,practices and directives of the EU. This is where E-Lock comes in,as E-Lock’s digital signature solutions are already compliant with the requirements of the EU law governing electronic signatures.

"E-Lock's functionality was successfully tested versus B-Trust certificates for advanced and universal electronic signature and related certificate services,provided from Bankservice Plc. as a CSP according to the Bulgarian Act for electronic signatures."
